NotesLast night my friend Jenna and I attended Simple Good and Tasty’s first birthday party at the Grand Cafe. Dinner was delicious. We met some great people. And, I was truly inspired by the site’s creator, Lee Zukor. Here’s some pics from the event.
PS: Tried duck for the first time last night, with this meal, and it was delicious (is it socially acceptable to gnaw on the bones?)…and from a farm (Au Bon Canard) in Calendonia, Minnesota. The sausage in the Cassoulet was also made fresh, on-site at the Grand Cafe. Delish.
